How to Write to Your NFC Card Using Our Free Web Tool

So you've got your new NFC card and you're ready to program it. We've made the process incredibly simple with our free NFC Writer Tool, which lets you write different types of data directly from your browser. This guide will walk you through the exact steps.

What You'll Need:

  • Your WebNfc Card (or any writable NFC tag)
  • A compatible smartphone and browser (like Chrome on Android) that supports Web NFC.

Step 1: Open the NFC Writer Tool

First, head over to our NFC Writer page on your compatible smartphone.

Step 2: Choose Your Data Type

You'll see a few options at the top of the tool. Choose what you want to write:

  • Text: For writing a simple note or piece of text to the tag.
  • URL: To make the tag open a website link when tapped.
  • Contact Card (vCard): To share your contact details, which can be saved directly to a phone's address book. Our vCard Generator is perfect for this.

Step 3: Enter Your Data and Write

Fill in the form that appears for your chosen data type. Once you're ready, click the 'Write to NFC Tag' button. Your phone will prompt you to bring your NFC card close. Hold the card to the back of your phone until you see the success message in the log. It's that easy!

Step 4: Test Your Card

You're all set! To test it, simply tap your NFC card to the back of a compatible smartphone. The action you programmed should trigger instantly. Now you're ready to network like a pro.
